The Piaggio Liberty S 125 ABS is the most sought after model in the Liberty family and is characterised by its bold colours with the options of matt red (Rosso Opaco) and grey (Grigio Titanio Opaco), both designed to create a striking contrast with the diamond-edged black wheel rims, the black-painted luggage rack, heat shield and mirrors and the red-stitched seat. With these looks, it’s no accident that the S appeals to younger riders. Looks may be important but performance has not been neglected with the scrupulous attention given to the engine and rider comfort unchanged. The single cylinder air-cooled three-valve Euro 4 engine benefits from i-get (Italian Green Experience Technology) and electronic injection. To put it more simply: outstanding performance, reduced fuel consumption and minimal maintenance. The scooter is equipped with 14” and 16” wheels and the modern suspension is efficient even on the bumpiest roads, whilst the front-wheel-only ABS combines a 240-mm front disc with a rear drum.
On the practical side of things, there is plenty of storage with one space under the rear shield and a second beneath the seat, large enough to hold a jet helmet.
